VariationsMini Rugby This is an exciting introduction to the game for the younger members. The under 7 and under 8 ranges play tag (no tackles) with two teams of 5 to 7 players - Official U7and U8 rules (pdf file). For the under 9's and under 10's , tackling is allowed and they play with a maximum of 9 players of which 3 are forwards and form the scrum - Official U9 and U10 Rules (pdf file). The emphasis is on learning and fun, rather than winning.
